It's a good setup. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Also generally good illustration, particularly the perspective on the bed.

The text is too small to read comfortably at this scale. I could read it all, but I had to squint. That's okay once in a while if you have a specific reason to make the reader squint, but you don't want the average comic strip/page to be that way.

I think the little break-out with the picture of the 50T mallet in it is a bit redundant. Would be fine to just see the clock jumping with the handle and then not see the 50T label until the very end. Actually I think that would work better -- it's more of a pay-off for the punch-line at the end.

Outside of those suggestions, I think the sleeping face in the 5th panel is the place the art could use the most work.

Overall it's good. Good layout, good art, good concept. Just needs a little polish. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

p.s. I usually do 2 critiques at the beginning of the month. Or at least that's the habit I've been trying to get into. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> I'm doing this to try and increase the amount of critique on DA in general, since most of us seem to have such a tough time getting critique.
